Summer Programs at Folly Farm Show Stables
Registration for Summer 2026 will open in January.
Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Horse Lovers Program
Ages 7 and Up | All Levels Welcome
Our Horse Lovers Program is open to riders of all experience levels, ages 7 and up. Participants spend the majority of their time riding and working with the horses, with riding groups divided by skill level.
Daily Schedule
- At least one hour of riding each morning
- Grooming and hands-on horse care
- Learning about equine behavior
- A fun, supportive barn environment
Program Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
- Weekly Limit: 8 participants
- Cost: $600 per week
- Session Dates: June 15th through the week of August 3rd
Tiny Trotter Program
Ages 4-6
The Tiny Trotter Program is designed for our youngest riders, ages 4 to 6. Each student is paired with a pony and an assistant each day to ensure a safe, positive, and confidence-building experience
Participants Will:
- Learn basic grooming skills
- Practice beginner riding
- Be introduced to simple horse care routines
Program Details:
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
- Weekly Limit: 4 participants
- Cost: $300 per week
- Sessions are limited to a handful of weeks over the summer
After Care Program
For Horse Lovers Program Participants
The After Care Program is available for students enrolled in the Horse Lovers morning program who would like to spend additional time at the farm.
This option can be selected on a day-to-day basis.
Program Details:
- Cost: $40 per day
- Pick-Up Time: 3:00 P.M.
- A minimum of two students is required to run the After Care Program.
Summer Program Policies
- Registrations received after June 1st are considered late and subject to a $50 late fee
- A $25 change fee applies to week changes (if space is available) after registration is confirmed
- Spaces are not reserved until payment is received
Payment options:
- Online via QuickBooks (Credit Card / ACH Transfer)
- Check accepted at the farm made out to Folly Farm
