Head Trainer and Professional Rider
Obsessed with horses from a young age, Amy has over 25 years experience in the equine industry and more than 10 years experience as a professional rider/trainer. Amy has been a USHJA Certified Trainer since 2014. Amy had a successful junior career in the hunters, equitation, and jumpers and graduated from UConn with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with an Equine concentration. While at UConn Amy won numerous high point rider honors competing on their Intercollegiate Equestrian Team. Since graduation Amy has coached many students to wins and top placings in local, regional, and national level competitions, as well as riding and showing to her own championships. Amy takes pride in matching horses and riders for the most success. In both 2017 and 2019 she was named the CHJA High Point Hunter Trainer. Amy teaches Folly's boarders and leasing clients and also coaches the Trinity College Equestrian team which is based out of Folly Farm.
In 2020, Amy expanded her business knowledge by earning her MBA from Louisiana State University- Shreveport.
Amy has been proudly sponsored by Voltaire Design Saddles since 2014 and began partnering with EquiFit in 2021.

Head of the Riding School and IEA Coach
Brittney began riding at age 8 and has made horses a major part of her life ever since. She competed in both Hunters and Equitation as a junior and attended UConn where she rode on the Hunt Seat and Western Teams. She also completed instructor training in English, Western and Dressage disciplines. Brittney has been working with Amy since 2013, and together they have built a very successful riding school and IEA program. Brittney is the Head of our Riding School and coaches both Folly's Middle School and High School IEA teams. In 2019 she was named the CHJA High Point Co-Trainer with Amy.

Cali is a passionate, lifelong horsewoman who began riding at the early age of 8. Before turning professional in 2019, she had a very successful junior/amateur career in equitation, hunters and jumpers where she earned numerous finals, derby and high point awards throughout the northeast and in Florida. Some of her highlights included ribboning at USEF Junior Hunter Finals, Reserve Champion in the Marshall & Sterling Junior/Amateur Horsemanship Medal Finals, NEEC ribbons as a Junior and Amateur Adult, IEA National, Regional and Zone Finals ribbons, not to mention CHJA and CHSA finals ribbons, championships and high point awards throughout her junior career.
Cali’s many strengths as a rider and a trainer include the remarkable connection she has with her horses, and her ability to bring that same deep learning and appreciation to her students. She has proudly celebrated many successful show and final ribbons with her students.

Riding School Instructor
Molly joins the Folly Farm training staff after riding and competing for years with Amy and Brittney as her instructors. Molly's bright smile and patience led us to ask her to begin to teach our youngest students in our Tiny Trotter program. With the development of her teaching skills, she has taken on an integral role instructing students of varying levels in our riding school. Molly is also the director of our summer programming.
